Blog posts have taken a backseat this week in order to explore the art life in the city (day and night). And it's days like these when seeing a gargantuan bottle of ketchup in the middle of City Hall park makes you want to belt out a laugh.
Even the kiddies go crazy over Daddies's Tomato Ketchup. Slightly reminds me of Elvis...
But of course with every kiddie crazed famous bottle of ketchup comes something a little bizarre and mischievous. I'd like to call him the wise old fortune teller because all that is missing is a turban or a form of head accessory (oh how the hat is such a fashion trend these days).
On the other side of the river, NYC's public school, Mark Twain for the gifted and talented hosted an art show last week for all parents and friends to view the students work from this year.
The crowd was bustling with parents eager to see their children's art work as well as their classmates. The amount of talent in that school is practically envious. Their collective skills were put into this art piece that was created on a cafeteria table where many more will be painted like this. Awesome and extremely thematic art!
With all the art that I have been seeing in the city, I was inspired by this picture of the skyline at night as we were driving back to Manhattan. Adios, Brooklyn and see you soon as always!
